I went in for a routine weekly exam on Thursday, Jan 26. I had always had this unexplainable inkling that G was going to come early, but at 37 weeks, I thought I still had time. At my checkup, however, the Doctor was concerned about my blood pressure. I remember them checking it 3 or 4 times, and one of the times it was something ridiculous like 160/100. So, my doctor sent me over to the Labor and Delivery ward at the hospital so they could monitor me and test for preeclampsia. Happy Sunday! 

Ahhh... Sundays. I look forward to this day every week. It's a day for rest, spiritual rejuvenation, family time, and inspiration. By the time I get to Sunday every week, I feel drained and tired and just overwhelmed by chores and work and everything going on. Sunday always seems to come right in time to create a "pause" and recenter me + my family.

The past week or so, I've been battling a lot of self-doubt and subsequent creator's block. We all go through days, weeks like that sometimes, right?

I have 5,002,348 projects (not exaggerating at all, there), half-finished to nearly-finished sitting in my sewing room. But none of them were calling to me this week. Ahhhhh. This week has been one of those weeks (and it's only Thursday!) You know what I mean by "one of those weeks", don't you? I mean one of those weeks where... one day you don't even leave your bedroom until 1PM. One day you have 4 meltdowns before dinnertime.  Your to-do list continually grows, but nothing really gets taken off. One of those weeks where you just don't believe that you can do it. "It," being everything from doing the laundry to being patient to finding time
